My music room in Colinton (above) is equipped with all we need to discover and enjoy music. 

I teach piano, music theory and musicianship:

- to adults and children
- from beginners through to advanced levels
- in classical, contemporary and popular styles 

My teaching does not just cover the usual elements of technique, repertoire and notation.  My approach is holistic and includes improvisation, listening skills, composing, duet playing and the skills to become one of those enviable people who can "just sit down and play".  

Associated Board and Trinity Guildhall graded exams are available.  My students have consistently high success rates. 
I also offer coaching for school-based Higher Music exams and keyboard skills for singers and instrumentalists.

I am a full professional member of EPTA (European Piano Teachers' Association) UK.
